I am available for mental and performance coaching using techniques from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Systemic Family Therapy (iA). Since 2021, I am a trained Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement instructor.

About Me

As a Systemic Family Psychotherapist in training, I offer systemic counseling and family therapy under supervision.

For professionals I offer stress management coaching, psychosocial skills training, burnout counseling, fatigue mitigation/sleep hygiene coaching, and mindfulness training.

I also offer counseling for couples, families, and groups. I have additional experience with Aviation Professionals and LGBTQ+ in this area.

I am also available for mental and performance coaching as well as research collaborations in areas of mental health, performance, and human factors. My expertise is based on my training as a Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement instructor, my degrees, and my professional counseling experience.

I have worked in mental health recovery setting up new programs for people in recovery from substance misuse disorders, facilitated professional trainings on topics of mental health and social inclusion, worked as the nurse for recovery programs, and supervised an inpatient program for people with memory loss that have a secondary psychiatric disorder. Mindfulness training and exercise-based interventions are some of my favorite tools for mental health recovery. Academically my research interest includes: mindfulness training for mental health; stigma in healthcare, people experiencing health disparities from the LGBTQ community; performance and aviation psychology; and sport and applied psychology.

Graduating with the mental health recovery and social inclusion MSc at the University of Hertfordshire (Hertfordshire, UK) gave me a world perspective on mental health recovery and built upon my previous bachelor level studies in psychology at Tennessee Technological University (Tennessee, USA). My diploma in nursing from Tennessee College of Applied Technology (Tennessee, USA) gave me a foundational knowledge of mental health recovery and mental health across the lifespan. I also completed the Advanced University Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Studies and Skills (Derby, UK).
